The Late Shri Niranjan Lal Agrawal ji was a true visionary and legend who started his career in the field of agriculture and related products. He then diversified his operations by getting into trade and set up several rice mills, oil mills, iron, steel and power plants. He was the backbone of the Vandanaa Group and his ideals will continue to be our driving force. He was a man of principles who handed over his company to his children and grand children. He will always be in our hearts as we continue to live by his values. He was one of the most renowned philanthropists in Chhattisgarh, Born in 1928 in Kharsia, Chattisgarh, he spent a majority of his life building our group from scratch. Fuelled by his hard work and ambition, this group has emerged as a reputed industrial house nationwide. The last 2 decades of his life were devoted to various social welfare activities. He felt deeply for the less fortunate and always tried to instil harmony in the society.

We then diversified by setting up multiple production facilities of sponge iron, billets, wire rods, TMT re-bars, heavy and light structural re-rolled products, ferro alloys, galvanized steel wires, the development of iron ore and coal mines. We are also involved in the generation of power, primarily through renewable sources such as wind, solar, rice husk, waste heat recovery and thermal sources of power. The annual turnover of our company is over Rs 1000 crores and we forecast a substantial growth in the years to come as well as several new ventures.
